COURSE DESCRIPTION : This
course is an in-depth inquiry in the field of Sociology and Anthropology. This
is an
                                                Attempt  to understand and explain social behavior,
and the result of this interaction
                                brought
about  by the group life. Moreover, it
includes the study  of the origin of man
and how  he developed  his culture 
along  the history of
civilization, and  the  relevant
sociological concept in  the  analysis  of  the  nature,  processes  and  problems
 of   the
contemporary  Philippine Society  and social change. Furthermore, population
education
and family planning will also be discussed
to understand social issues and problems.
